The History of the league goes back to the days of the great Schappert Langan Cotton Gierson and Swaine in the 1970's.

The rules have advanced over many year's of play and scullduggery of opponents gaming the old rules. To say the least the rules are now very tight.

The league has gone through many permutations and now hosts both a Men's Elite League and a Super Mixed league. Participants are invitation only. Spoils of battle is a year end steak dinner where the winner dines for free and praised for their accomplishment.
